FERC held a “scoping” meeting at Stuarts Draft High School on March 19th, 2015. This was an opportunity for members of our community to voice concerns and participate in the democratic process about the proposed Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP). If it’s built it will bisect Augusta County, Virginia, the place where we live.
I tire of corporate smoke and mirrors, lies and greed. They say natural gas pipelines are safe. If they are so safe why were there seventy “significant” natural gas pipeline incidents in 2013?
Remarkably, Bobby has managed to sum up six years of effort by thousands of people in three states into a tight, fun-to-read debrief. Four Factors is clear and empowering. I highly recommend this book to any organization, community leader, or neighbor who is taking on a campaign, be it a local neighborhood effort or a six-year fight against an unneeded $8 billion pipeline project.
